Mee Sua chicken soup

When Chinese New Year, Chinese will  eat this Mee Sua that symbol a long life.Normally,we will put in some jujube, ginger and mushroom.After that, we will boil it two hour. So that, the chicken will chewy.

Guang Bing (kompyang)

This is how we make the kompyang.

We bake it only in 15 minute, if not the kompyang will scorch.


I believe that every Cantonese have eat it when young. This is kompyang that cook with our secret recipe. Every customer also will choose this snack when dinner at our restaurant .

While this special kompyang is just DIY by our chef.

We call it "Special Guang Bing"

 

You Gao (oil cake)

This is the solution to make the You Gao.When making the You Gao, the elder people tell us that we must focus and avoid to wrangle. If not, the size of the You Gao will not round and be sunken. We can put in some red jujube or just fry it in hollow.

After customer eat the Suan Ya, most of them comment that, our Suan Ya is different with other,
because the duck meat is fructify, not greasy,and not so sour.We need put in some vinegar and fermented soybean to increase it smell and flavour.

Fa Gao Qi

Fa Gao Qi is one of the dessert for Cantonese.It have many flavor by adding the different embellish like sesame, red jujube or peanut powder. Most of the elderly people like to eat the Fa Gao Qi because it is soft and delicate.

This is our famous food. Almost every customer will order this meat dishes because it is Chewy and dishes is very attracted.We need wrap the chicken with aluminum foil and bake it one hour.

Bazhen Decoction

This is our traditional Chinese medicine. However, it also can be a good food. After we are mixing the eight type of medicinal material, we need boil it at least three hour.So that, the nourishment can be absorb by the soup.
 
 

After three hour, the soup will become Light Black and very nice to taste.

Besides that, we can add in some "MEE SUA".For Chinese, this food can away the bad luck.

Cantonese Peanut dumpling

 
Before rub rice balls (dumpling),we need ready the Peanut powder and mix it with sugar so that we not rush. We can use the Chopsticks or spoon to roll the dumpling. After that, put it on a plate and we can enjoy it directly.

Sha Jiang Ji


This is the favourite food for every Cantonese. The most needed food when cooking it is the "Sha Jiang" leaf because without the leaf, the food will not have it unique taste. When any festival, they will prepare the "Sha Jiang Ji",so that young generation can taste it and the food not become extinct.
